Robin Hood Tales #2 - Matt Baker art, mis-attributed Baker cover

Robin Hood Tales #2
Robin Hood Tales v1 #2, 1956 - I have to disagree with Overstreet comic book price guide that attributes the cover to Matt Baker. Stylistically, it doesn't match his works from the same period nor his interior story. Baker begins drawing the series' back-up tales, featuring King Richard the Lion-Hearted during the Crusades. Aside from an unintentionally, but painfully distorted face (see interior page below), the artwork in general has clarity and purpose. Other artists in this golden age comic include Sam Citron. This is 1 of 5 Robin Hood Tales issues by Baker.
