Out of the Night v1 #4, 1952 - After being rescued and recruited by an unearthly military squadron, a pilot plots an escape for himself and a female companion. Al Williamson employs various cross-hatching techniques to add texture and interest to the storytelling. These hauntingly atmospheric backgrounds are a worthy accompaniment to his ruggedly heroic figures and faces.
